Truth be told, I adore Kelly and her sister Jaime.
I created Kelly and Edgar’s lovely wedding invitations last year, and Kelly contacted me to do her baby shower invitations this year! (side note, super happy for Kelly and Edgar!). We created these fancy shmancy invitations on metallic silk cardstock in white with a pink layer and then the back layer is green and white metallic silk stock. I used matching pink envelopes and addressed them in the pretty fonts from the invitations.
These are so pretty and my new favorite invites!

Jessica originally contacted me because she wanted to order just the paper products for her wedding. With her invitation list running nearly 200, she decided that she would like me to do her printing, cutting and assembly. I has happy to help out, and it was my biggest order to date! 220 Pocketfold invitations was the final count!
The invitations are 5×5 pockets with not 1, not 2, but 3 layers plus the pocket! Jessica had the traditional inserts, accommodation/direction, reception and RSVP with envelope. The monogram tag on front was also 3 layers that matched the inside of the invitation.
I finished the design by complimenting the envelope with the graphic from the inside of the invitation.
I was overwhelmed a couple of times and wanted to cry a couple more, but they are all done and in the mail!

I wanted to touch base with my viewers and any past, current and potential clients.
After a lot of soul searching and a lot of thought, I have decided to limit my business drastically this year and so on until times are better. This was not an easy decision for me to make, but ultimately, it is the best choice for me.
I began the journey to my bachelor degree over four years ago. As of March 31, 2010, I will finally complete my undergraduate work and obtain my degree. I have decided after much thought and countless discussions with my husband, family and friends, that I will return to school this fall working toward my master’s degree.
With this in mind, I would really like to take this summer and make it my own. The last two years, I have been very thankful for the work you wonderful people have entrusted me with, but I feel after over four years of study, working full time and doing my home business, I need a break. It could be for the rest of this year or it could be permanent.
I would like to ensure my current customers (all 2010 brides) that I will continue to complete your orders in a timely manner as we agreed and perform any future work you may need in relation to your wedding or anything afterward. Any of my past brides that would like items from me, I will always honor you and your business. For any potential clients, I will be drastically limiting the number of clients I take on. I will ask that you allow me at least four months advanced notice and I will let you know at the time of inquiry if I will be able to take the work on.
I trust that you understand and that you will continue to have faith in me and my products as I fully stand behind them and all of my clients.
Thank you, and best wishes to you and yours.
Much Love,
Kristie

I created these baby annoucements for an old classmate of mine. Andrea’s plan was to include the announcements in her Christmas cards, so we chose one photo that was Christmas themed and another photo that matched the color scheme of the announcement. Isn’t baby Aaron soooo cute?!?!?

These are mine and Rob’s cards for this year. I made our cards a 4x5L folded card in off-white metallic with matching envelopes… I put liners in the envelopes that were blue and used a combination of all the colors for the addresses and return address… (design inspiration from www.evelopments.com)
First the outside:

Next is the inside of the folded card:

Lauren is actually my cousin-in-laws friend who contacted me earlier this year after the CIL’s wedding. She didn’t need invitations, but did want a seating chart and table numbers. Her theme was snowflakes, so I was super excited about that! Her colors were fantastic too, dark blue, silver and off-white! I had fun with her design, and she loved the items!
Thanks Lauren, can’t wait to see your pictures!

I absolutely, hands down, adore Susan! She came to me a couple months ago for wedding invitations… the person she order invitations through was a “no show”. She got my name from one of my previous brides and contacted me! I am so happy she did! I created a few extras for her including seating chart, programs, picture sign individual menus and table numbers (I realize these are digital images, the menus were printed on light gold metallic stock, the table numbers were light gold tent fold cards with ivory linen layer, programs in light gold metallic paper). I was so lucky to see the reception hall, The Reserve, all set up for her wedding last week.
Thank you Susan for trusting me and I can’t wait to see you when you’re back from your HM!!!
